“What’s your why?”
If I would've been asked this question a few years ago, my answer would’ve been something like, “I’m a husband, father, doctor, and Christian who just really wants to help other people.” But a brain injury changed nearly everything about me - including my answer to this question
Yes, I’m still a husband.
I’m still a father.
I’m still a doctor, although I’m no longer able to practice medicine because of my brain injury.
And I’m still a Christian.
But my faith isn’t the same. I'm not just a fan of Jesus anymore. I'm trying to follow Him.
And I still want to help other people.
But it’s no longer just about making myself look or feel better. It’s because I finally realized how much Jesus loves and “helps” me.
